Discovering the Beauty of Kasol: My Hosteller Parvati Valley Accommodation Review

In November 2023, I had the opportunity to visit Kasol, a picturesque destination located in Parvati Valley. To make the most of my trip, I decided to book a hostel in Parvati Valley, which is known for its affordable rooms catering to backpackers. During my four-day stay, I primarily explored the area by riding scooters. Kasol is truly a beautiful place, surrounded by majestic mountains and abundant greenery. Its vibrant hippie culture has made it a popular spot for Israelis.

In Kasol, there are three Hosteller properties available: Hosteller Kasol, Hosteller Parvati Valley, and Hosteller Riverside. I chose to stay at Hosteller Parvati Valley in Kasol, where my room offered a spacious bathroom and a small balcony that provided a great spot for stargazing. The room itself was of standard quality and came equipped with a hot kettle, crockery, and coffee pouches. What I particularly loved about this place was the breathtaking view from my room. The front wall featured a transparent glass panel, allowing me to enjoy the starry nights, mountains, and lush palm trees. With its mountainous surroundings, this hostel was an ideal choice for my stay. Additionally, the hostel offered dormitory rooms with bunk beds and other deluxe accommodations.

The cafeteria served as a makeshift workspace, as there was no dedicated area for work. However, the terrace provided a stunning view, and though the food at the cafeteria was a bit pricey, it was still enjoyable. Overall, I would rate my hostel experience a 4 out of 5. The total price for my four-night, five-day stay amounted to INR 6800.
